KDX 2500 There are 16 card slots, which is located at both ends of paragraphs 1 and 16 slots for the installation of 1:1 protection system control cards SCC (System Control Card). Central 14 slots can be used for PON line card (OLC card or SOLC card).  All boards support hot-swappable.  If necessary, the first 8-14 slots can also be configured to support TDM business TLC (Trunk Line Card) line cards of this design in line with the protection of existing network structure and operations, at the same time cater to the whole trend of the evolution of IP operations.

SCC card has two ports, one serial port, for the way through the command-line log and configuration, there is a 10M/100M Ethernet ports, as an external network management interface (band management), or through the SAM WEB manner graphical control system.

2500 to provide two kinds of OLC card: SOLC (Standard Optical Line Card) and standards before OLC1 (Optical Line Card). PON card each single fiber transmission, the provision of symmetric 1Gbps transmission capacity payload. SOLC card is fully compatible IEEE802.3ah standards, PON I support up to 1: 64 ratio spectrophotometry.  SOLC cards in each block to provide two GE uplink interface and the two PON interface for connecting ONU3300 series.  At this point, a piece of board SOLC can access 128 ONU, the realization of large-capacity users access.

KDX 2500 KDX 2500  Can be installed in the standard 19-inch or 23-inch rack, a 7-foot rack can be installed within three KDX 2500.  System uses dual-48V DC power supply protection.  KDX 2500 chassis dual redundant backup fan module design, the use of two-speed fan.
